How do IndiaTEAM work?

1. Each IndiaTEAM consists of 10 coordinators. Each coordinator in turn manages another 10 members. Coordinators take responsibility of collecting money and contact them on regular basis. Since other ten members are most friends, it makes the chain work informally very well and lot of things are discussed in open manner.
2. Everyone gets a chance to take up a project. Each member will get an opportunity to decide where and how the money is contributed to a project.
3. Funds are disbursed to SCHOOL in batches of $500. It is possible to disburse funds to same project if needed but every time it is $500.
4. Funds are deposited to a bank account and are managed by treasurer. Each chapter has its own bank account.

6. They have well developed online system to track SCHOOL, people
7. They have a 5 member technical data center which manages the website
8. Each chapter gets to meet once in 3 or 4 months. All members meet once a year. Everyone gets to participate equally in the activities.
9. Funds are mostly collected through checks. Contributions are $10 per month per person.
10. communication is mostly managed through yahoo groups.
11. For every school project, they work with a local person who is a relative or friend of the IndiaTEAM member who gets the funds. This enables proper utilization of funds.
