Dear TEAM,
Following the success of sixth meeting of TEAM, the Seventh TEAM meeting held on 20th October 2001 turned to a great successul one.
On the pleasant evening,compered by Uma the meeting started at 6.30 PM with the prayer song by Amlu. It was followed by welcome speech by Anbu Gounder. He welcomed the gathering and introduced Sutha SivaSubramanian (Regular Host, FM 90.1, Mostly Tamil Programme) special guest of the day to the TEAM.
There was a wonderful video presentation of TEAM projects in India. Interviews with school headmasters and people from the villages proved that TEAM’s goal has reached the right destination. Many thanks to the team of members who worked on this video presentation.
Ravikumar presented the TEAM activities. The chart listed with highlights of TEAM activities was distributed to all.
Radhakrishnan delivered a speech about ‘Social Activities & Services’. He said that every individual has a basic helping tendency, which is getting chanalized thru TEAM. Our money reaches to the right people and all our efforts in this should be appreciated.
Ramki conducted the school selection event. The following is the list of members who got selected for next quarter. Best wishes to the members on behalf of TEAM.

Chief guest Sutha SivaSubramanian – Mostly Tamil host – delivered a nice speech. He insisted that even though we are away from our home, we want to build some good things back for our home and TEAM’s effort in this should be appreciated. He brought up the concept of Navarathri, where the 9 days were dedicated equally to courage, wealth and education. “At the end of these 9 days do we have the courage to help others for education?” – was the message put forth by him.
Karthikeyan delivered vote of thanks. He said that TEAM is a place for accumulating knowledge and it is the only opportunity where happiness is achieved by giving something to others instead of getting something back.
TEAM thanks the all the members who have put plenty of effort in making the event a great successful one. TEAM’s extended thanks to –

Vote of thanks was followed by POTLUCK dinner. Thanks to all the members who prepared nice varieties of dinner.
Last but not the least was the super hit singing program of TEAM members. TEAM enjoyed varieties of songs. Thanks to Haja Peer, Amlu, Ashok Mangalore, Sudha, Senthil Palaniyappan, Sridhar and all the members who participated in this, special thanks to Haja Peer for compering this event.
